Next week I have been assigned to ER department for my clinical training, with the possibility to extend it in June. So for the next 4 weeks, I’m gonna spend a lot of time over here. My last training happened in ICU and I loved it. More intensive as in Surgery Care and Cardiology departments. I have asked my cards how will be this clinical training in ER?
Garden – Lily – Sun – Bouquet – Path
Lots of people to care about it (Garden – Lily) but it will be a pleasant experience. The pillars of the reading Garden-Sun-Path show I will adjust very well and probably I will decide to do a 2nd clinical training which is my last one before I graduate the school in August. There will be 3 persons who will guide me through this training: a man (King of Spade may be a doctor) and 2 women (Queen of Spade and Queen of Diamond. There are 2 teachers who also work in ER: one is a nurse and the other one is the CNO of this department). Park followed by Lily shows benefit performance to the public welfare through decisive help to/from a few people (Lily mirrors Path). My activity during the clinical training will be very appreciated (Sun-Bouquet) and even being offered a choice (Bouquet-Path). Based on these cards, nothing to be afraid of going to ER department.
I have known a couple for a couple of years. They got married last year after 7 years of an on-and-off relationship. From time to time I have checked their life and in March, one of the readings (a GT) revealed they are passing through a marriage crisis. So it crossed my mind to check their relationship today. I used Lenormand Couples Spread Redux, a spread I learnt many years ago.
On the Lady’s side:

On the Gentleman’s side:
Above the Gentleman: His thoughts and plans Right of the Gentleman: His hopes and desires Left of the Gentleman: Qualities he displays in the relationship Below the Gentleman: His feelings
So let’s go through all that step-by-step, and take a look at the Lady first: Path falling above the wife shows she might be struggling with a choice that is actually out of her control. It will be made for her. She doesn’t know what to do, or what direction she should go (Ship). She’s hoping for family and sexuality (Lily is the card of family harmony or sex, maybe both). Not sure whether should I read the involvement of another man (King of Spade). It could be her own feelings of lust towards someone or something that comes from out of nowhere and then subsides. The Tree shows she is waiting patiently to see how things will go on.
Let’s take a look at the Gentleman’s side now:
He is tired of the relationship, and he is thinking of separation (Tower). The gentleman obviously wants (note the hopes and desires position, the Heart) a great relationship and love but when the Tower is directly above a person it’s normally a sign that they’re thinking about their life, direction, and occasionally their mortality. He is stressed and started to detach from his feelings. He started losing interest in their marriage (Mice) and probably refuges in his work (Anchor). Is he really sure he wants to separate? He doesn’t seem to want to give a chance to her (Heart+Mice))
When you add up the Lady’s cards and reduce them, it comes out to 6, the Clouds. When you add up the Gentleman’s cards and reduce them, it comes out to 2, the Clover. If we go a little further and add those two cards together, we get 8, the Coffin.
The woman will lose her patience and start to create chaos (Clouds) probably every day (Clouds-Clover). The man may support this situation for a while (Clover) but it seems the end is coming (Coffin). For their marriage to survive, they need to work to solve their problems.
I use the Character spread to check how my personality changed lately. Due to my reactions with some persons, I want to see if there are some blockages that makes me react in a certain way or I am just sick of dramas and mind games
Cards Key and Book represent the fundamental characteristics of my personality
One could read these two cards as: “I see, and say nothing.” The Key card portrays an outstanding individual who has a significant life purpose. I will probably stand out. The Book describes me as being educated, intelligent, resourceful, discreet, curious, and knowledgeable with excellent memory skills but also secretive, sometimes hiding very important information about myself and my life. I am at the point in my life when I look for answers, and solutions, I close some doors and I open others. Although I don’t have the power to achieve everything I wish for, I keep searching to find my goal. The Key with Book shows I follow my intuition.
Card Moon represents what I love
The Moon usually loves the glamours, the fame. The moon person is seductive and feminine, well-aware of her charm. Hypnotic and perceptive, the personality is soft and loving. It’s weird to have such card in this position because I don’t like to be the center of attention. I am not a sensitive person and I don’t like to reveal my sensitive side. So this card makes me wonder what I love? The attributes are caring, affectionate and motherly. I don’t feel being like this .
In a positive environment, the Moon means a reward, recognition, and respect of others, hence the feeling of psychological comfort, tranquility, and harmony. I think this resonates better.
Card Tower represents what I hate.
The Tower is the symbol of borders and I really hate when someone is crossing the line with me. I hate injustice done to me or others. I hate discrimination, arrogance, and people who may feel superior morally and socially. The card may pay attention to me that I could hate being isolated, and lonely but it contradicts the Mountain card in the wish position.
Card Birds represents what I fear
As a characteristic, The Birds portrays a person who can talk their way out of a wet paper bag. Making a mountain out of a molehill. Do I fear this? Maybe. The Birds are noisy, annoying, and talkative. Probably I fear not disclosing all my secrets (Book above).
Card Mountain represents what I wish for.
Mountain tells me that all I want is to be left alone and I want to keep my distance and not involve. I may become stubborn and aloof especially when other people cross my boundaries.
I may say I am little concerned that I prefer to stay alone and not be very social but my pace of mind is more important than other persons’ problems.
It’s been a long time since I haven’t post any reading with Deste for educational purposes. So yesterday I had a client who asked whether she would recover some money she gave to a man. Cards felt randomly:
Sun – Kalif rv – Ring – Samyele – Epprahat rv
I suspect this woman lent this money to a con man. She will never recover the money. Later feedback revealed that the man doesn’t recognize he took the money. It makes sense why he is represented by Epprahat reversed. He charmed her and made her promises but once he got the money, everything changed (Ring-Samyeli), and showed his real face: a liar, ungrateful, and holding grudges, and resentments (Epprahat reversed).
I got an interesting question from a client recently:” Is marriage in my destiny?”
This is my breakdown:
The premise of the Question (the nature of the question ): 2 of club
For someone who is asking about a relationship or possible marriage, 2 of club suggests a practical matter. Our querent desires someone who can share the same idea, two hands clasped in a handshake and make a deal. So the woman is not looking for love but for something practical because “time is running out” ( 2 of club is a timing card)
The 2nd card relates to the reason for the question, or it provides background information regarding the question: 9 of club
Looking at question, 9 of club is the destiny card. The woman doesn’t have any specific person in her mind and she is really interested if destiny is at play in this situation because the 9 of club is usually a situation that is controlled by the hand of fate.
The 3rd card provides additional information or reveals factors that contributed to the situation: Q of heart
If the Q of heart represents her, she is a happy woman just like that: married or not. But if the Q of heart represents another woman, it can show that a woman from the family or a dear friend will be involved in a possible marriage.
The 4th card provides the answer to the question: J of spade
There isn’t really any catch to this reading, but I think the tricky part of the spread was deciding how to interpret the Jack of spade. The key, I think, is in remembering the significance of the position in which it falls. The 4th spot answers the question, in this context, it doesn’t make sense to me to read this card as someone’s thoughts, since thoughts are not going answer the question– only facts will answer the question, so I read the Jack of Spade as a dark-haired young man.
The 5th card shows the final outcome: 9 of diamond
I don’t see 9 diamond as a marriage but it seems someone will be interested in marrying her. The 9 diamond is another “wish card” but it indicates how other people’s wishes and desires affect or influence the querent. So maybe the Jack of spade will wish to marry her. If she will accept, it’s up to her. Not forget that 9 diamond also represents a change in attitude, hopes, and wishes.
I drew the cards randomly: Gentleman – Book – Cross-Clouds-Snake
From this spread, I can see the man will end the relationship by causing problems with his current girlfriend. The Cross shows there are already troubles and some complications are going to continue to grow (Cross-Clouds – Snake). I think his girlfriend has no idea what he plans to do (Gentleman – Book – he keeps something secret, Book mirrors Clouds – secrets are kept away), this man put his eyes on another woman (Gentleman mirrors Snake). I don’t interpret the Snake as being his girlfriend because she is his significant other (Lady) and not the other woman/rival (Snake). Because of this other woman or to get this other woman (Clouds – Snake shows bad influence), he will start to behave wrongly with his girlfriend. The row actually ends with a secret involvement of another woman, quite hidden (dark clouds), causing troubling complications or treachery.
As for timing, there is only one movement card, Cross, with major importance and it may predict that it will end soon, possibly in 3 weeks and it will be complicated with ups and down, not a sudden end but slowly and foggy.
In a recent reading done on behalf of a male friend, I asked „Will male X get married to his current girlfriend?”.. the answer was apparently negative, so I did a double check using geomancy.

The male X is located in House 7 – Fortuna Minor – shows partial success or temporary success, a short window of opportunity, or scattered efforts. In emotional matters or relationships, it means coolness or thinks cooling off. Because there is the sense of „less light” with Fortuna Minor, it may also mean obscurity, things hidden, or things in the background. Something isn’t right in this relationship. His efforts may be only partial or scattered The girlfriend in located in House 1 – Conjunctio – this is the figure of friendships, love and marriage. She wants this relationship to end in Marriage or she is looking for the marriage. It can even signify sexual attraction at times. Indeed, in past centuries, the English verb „conjunct,” derived from CONJUNCTIO, was used for sexual intercourse. Combining Fortuna Minor with Conjuntion results Amissio which is a card of loss – things or people are taken away or leave. Here today, gone tomorrow. They only spend time together but nothing serious. There is no perfection between Fortuna Minor and Conjunctio, the answer is negative. There will be no marriage. Fortuna minor forms a square with Conjunction which brings difficulty and confirms the negative answer. Looking at the witnesses. The Right witness Acquasitio that also falls in House 5 – shows meetings and sex. Someone seems to use this relationship just for sex and having fun. Falling also in the position of Judge, things will go for better or worse, nothing is gained, nothing is lost. Populus as Left witness shows going with other people. The situation is fluctuating and he is not quite sure where he stands. It might be that others have stronger views than him or his view is not really important. Indeed, this is a situation that is being ruled by the group and the connections and commonality he has with people.
Overall, using geomancy method, it confirms my initial reading with playing cards that he will not marry his current girlfriend.
I’ve done a reading for a single lady who is tired of failed relationships. She wishes to have a stable relationship and her own family. She asked: Will I ever get married?
House – Mountain – Koran reversed – Saah(Pasha of Ruby) – Mice reversed Additional cards for cards clarification: Fish reversed and Garden
The House card upright is a symbol of family happiness. It means that whatever she decides to do within the family shall be fruitful and successful. Even if the conditions are not positive at the moment, the opportunities are many and promising. An upright Home is a home that shall be built or a home that shall come again to life after a separation. The Mountain follows and brings clear, good prospects for the future. Combining together, it shows that even if she is single for the moment, someone is coming into her life having prospects to build a family together. But it seems to be someone she has been separated from. But a deeply buried secret will be revealed and cause her much turmoil (Koran reversed). What is it about? The Fish reversed as clarification/additional information shows is a dangerous enemy that can suddenly appear before it. Someone yarns to see her but he doesn’t have the best intentions for her. Looking at the following card, Saah – Pasha of Ruby – the secret lover or illegitimate lover. It seems she will have an affair that will jeopardize her chance to have her own family. Saah is a womanizer who constantly needs a woman around him. The Garden as clarification card shows meetings with him or she will meet this man in an open space. He is a charming man who knows to seduce a woman and made her fall in love with him but he will not commit to anyone. Probably she will be tempted to follow this man and give up on what she has but she will change her mind and leave him (Mice reversed). Whatever this man will do to her, justice will prevail.

Using Star Spread
All cards are black but I never jump to a conclusion without taking a deep look at the cards. In this reading, the predominance of black cards would denote a “no” answer to the querent’s question but it’s important to keep in mind that the “no” does not mean “never or impossible”. Cards have multiple meanings but I use my gut to find a proper interpretation.
Cards In the Order They Were Drawn:
The Q C at the first point of the star represents the nature of the question. As a member of the suit of clubs, this card confirms that the question deals with a practical matter rather than an emotional one. Queen of Clubs represents the female seeker herself. In that case, I know I’m reading for an active, industrious, reliable woman who is well-liked and has great business sense. While she is a visionary at heart and can tend to be swept away by her ideals, she can be practical and pragmatic about life as well. From this, I conclude that she is actually looking for a man who is compatible with her in a practical matter.
The 8 S at the 2nd point of the star represents the cause or basis of the question, the reason for the wish, or the cause of the problem. The suit of spades represents a loss of balance and a lack of reciprocation, which are obvious reasons for wanting to find one’s true love. In terms of relationship, 8 S denotes unrequited or unreciprocated love or a one-sided relationship that is not mutually beneficial but also assessing one’s position, or reassessing one’s goals. Our lady still is not very sure what kind of partner she really wants because she dealt mostly with one-sided relationships.
The K C falling at the 3rd point of the star represents a contributing factor or additional information to be considered. The K C is friendly, reliable, trustworthy, and stable, which are the very qualities the querent needs in her life. The K C is the perfect match for the Q C. The K C represents a new man coming into the querent’s life.
At the 4th point of the star we find the J C in the layout. This position answers the question, or provides advice for finding a solution to the problem or concern. When a Jack follows a King or Queen, it will sometimes represent that person’s thoughts. When no other face card appears is the Star spread, then the Jack would be read as the querent’s thoughts. In this case, the J C would represent the thoughts of the K C but also of the Q C. I see clubs more as friendship than as romantic love. I think she will meet this person in her workplace or social activity in which case it can be someone she already knows.
The card in the final position at the 5th point of the star represents the final outcome. For me, the 7 S is not a card of loss or disappointment, but of setbacks and delays or the reversal of cherished plans. The 7 S warns that patience will be needed because there could be some obstacles or delays to overcome so her desire to be fulfilled. In my view, this lady will meet a compatible man but it will not turn into love as 7 S shows a lack of progress or a stalled situation. It will usually indicate that events will not play out as she hoped.. Both of them are not emotional but they will work together. So while I offered my interpretation to the querent, I suggested she clears her mind about what kind of man and relationship she is looking for and that not all relationships are not based on love especially if she is not an emotional woman.
I did a geomantic reading for a woman about finding a life partner and the answer was positive. Because I like physical descriptions done with lenormand, I have asked the cards to give me the physical description of this person.
I have used The No layout spread known also as „The Lost man spread” (The Man is the significator)
He is around 40-50 years old, well put together, neatly dressed, attractive (average to good looking), social, people person. Medium height, he may have a thin appearance, blue to brown eyes, blonde to brown hair, very short hair cut but not bold. He is an educated man. As a characteristic suggests a warmed person, someone who gleams with confidence, being honest with a positive outlook on life, a friendly and open-minded individual with much to say. Can be a Leo, Scorpio, or Aries sign. I think he may look like someone who is a public figure such as an actor, singer, or politician.
